Taking part in the 2012 Westhampton
Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade is easy
and free. We have all kinds of groups in
the parade every year from fire departments
and cub scout groups to local businesses
and riders on horseback.
The 2012 parade is on Saturday, March
10 with step-off at noon.
If you would like to take part in the Parade,
simply click and download the Parade
us at the address listed on the application.
If you would like us to e-mail or mail you one, please contact us at info@whbstpats.com or call us at 560-6392 and request one.
If you would like to construct a float to display in the parade and you don't have a flatbed truck, we can help you do that too by providing a flatbed truck and driver courtesy of Chesterfield Associates. Flatbed trucks come in all different lengths to meet your needs. We'll even have it delivered to your site (as long as it's reasonably local). The use of the truck is free. We only ask that the driver is tipped for his work in delivering the truck and driving it the day of the Parade.
We can even help with a little start up cash for the organizers of youth floats. Contact us for more information.
Float Awards
The Parade Committee offers hefty trophies and cash prizes to the three best floats in three different categories:
Community
Youth

(no cash prize for Commercial)

Floats are considered for awards based on different criteria.

Get Your Classic Cool Car
In Our Parade
Do you have a car or truck that people think is pretty cool? If you do, then you should get it in our Parade! Contact us for more information on how to get your vehicle in the 45th Annual Westhampton Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade in 2012.
In 2011 we had Model Ts, vintage muscle cars and some that were just cool to see. The Parade Committee is considering adding a vehicle division to its slate of awards in 2012. So keep checking here for more information.

Promote Your Business for FREE
Local businesses are encouraged to promote their business through the Parade. We only ask that floats reflect the 2012 Parade Theme or St. Patrick's Day in general.
The Parade Committee reserves the right to deny entry of floats deemed in poor taste or in violation of any rules, laws or ordinances of the local municipalities.
Items cannot be thrown from floats, but may be handed out by pedestrians walking with the float.
